Can Sage Payroll be hosted alongside Sage 50 or Sage 200?
Yes. We can host Sage Payroll in the same environment as Sage 50 or Sage 200, with a single login point through our hosted desktop. This gives your finance team seamless access to accounts and payroll from one place, with data flowing between systems where the products integrate.
How is access to payroll data controlled?
User access is controlled through Sage Payroll’s own permission system, with an additional layer of protection via Cisco Duo MFA at login. Payroll data is only accessible to authenticated users with appropriate permissions, and every access attempt requires a second factor of authentication.
Is our payroll data hosting GDPR compliant?
Yes. All payroll data is stored on our privately owned UK servers. Data never leaves the UK and is subject only to UK law. Our ISO 27001 certification provides the independently verified security framework that GDPR requires for processing employee data.
How long are payroll backups retained?
Daily backups are retained for 30 days. For longer-term retention requirements (for example HMRC’s three-year payroll record retention rule), Sage Payroll’s own archiving manages historical data within the system, this is separate from our infrastructure backups.
Which versions of Sage Payroll do you host?
We host the desktop versions of Sage Payroll commonly used by UK businesses, including Sage 50 Payroll. If you’re running a specific version or edition, talk to us about your setup and we’ll confirm compatibility before migration.
